Slowly waking up as a feeling of warmth slowly but surely flooded over his skin via the early morning sun shining in brightly through a back window in the Rustbucket, Ben slowly blinked open his eyes, about to move and stretch, as he did every morning upon first awaking, but this motion was prevented at the moment, he discovered, for something was weighing down one of his arms.

Hm? he moaned quietly in confusion, finally opening up his eyes, before blinking several times, feeling a jolt of sorts strike his heart at the sight that met his eyes.

Lying there, closely beside him, her face maybe a mere inch away from his own, Gwen remained asleep, her breath coming out in a perfect, even pattern. Upon further realization of the situation, Ben noticed that she happened to have her arms wrapped around his neck, and that he, likewise, had his arms wrapped around her waist. He was, at once, sure that it had not been planned; the two of them had simply somehow come to find themselves in this position at some point in the night. Of course, Ben now thought, as he moved one of his hands upwards, to brush a stray strand of hair from Gwens face and tuck it behind her ear, he definitely couldnt complain.
