Ben 10 Porn Story: Counting Stars Chapter 10
Disclaimer: I dont own Ben 10/Alien Force or its characters.
Sighing as she peered out through the slightly tinted passenger side window of her Uncle Carls corvette, Gwen moved a hand down toward the end of her skirt, before twisting the fabric of it with her fingers nervously, biting down on her lip as she did.
Youre worried about Grandpa, huh? Ben asked, glancing over at his cousin as he noticed her starting up her nervous habits.
Well, yeah, she admitted, before looking back over to Ben when she felt his hand move to her leg, giving it a slight, reassuring squeeze as he spoke to her.
Well dont worry about it–Im sure hes fine. Dad didnt make it sound like it was very urgent and besides, he waited a while before actually contacting me in the first place to let me know, right?
Yeah, guess thats true, Gwen agreed, although her hand was still twisting at the hem of her skirt.
Well look, how about you just do something to keep your pretty mind off of it.”
Smirking slightly at this, Gwen shrugged slightly, saying, Like what?
Well, Ben said, considering for a moment, before smiling slightly as he looked upwards, out through the cars windshield. Can you see the stars well enough from out through your window?
Not exactly, Gwen replied, leaning her face closer to the tinted glass, before moving back quickly at the sound of a mechanical buzzing, before the glass of said window slid down. You could have warned me that you were gonna roll it down.
Sorry, Ben said, a bit of a sheepish expression on his face as looked at Gwen as she glanced quickly back at him.
Its alright, the redhead said, sticking her head a bit out through the now opened window, gazing up at the stars as the coolness of the just after dark breeze blew back against her face. But so, why exactly am I looking at the stars?
Well its something I got used to doing if something was troubling me, Ben admitted, flicking on the corvettes left hand signal before turning a corner onto a different street. Like, when I was lying awake in my bed, just totally unable to sleep while I was away at college, Id tend to just stare out my window and think of you, and when that too got too hard to do, Id distract myself by counting the stars. Works far better than counting sheep, youll find.
Oh? Gwen replied, looking to glance back at Ben as she spoke, before returning her gaze back toward the sky. Whys that?
Cos, he answered, as he pulled onto a new street. Counting sheep–well really, how far does that help you along in the end? The stars, youll happen to find, are endless. Youll never run out of enough of them to count before youre either asleep or your thoughts have taken you off to some other, entirely new, more pleasant place.
I see, Gwen replied, moving her hand to place over his hand as he kept it on her leg, before giving it a slight squeeze.
So yeah, Ben said, smiling slightly as he felt his hand being squeezed. Come on, trust me–Grandpas fine. Just count stars with me, Gwen.
Smiling slightly as well, the redhead gave Bens hand another squeeze, before taking in a slight breath and beginning aloud, One Two Three Four
Thats it, Ben said, smiling more as he chimed in. FiveSixSevenEight
Pulling on into the parking lot of the hospital a matter of moments later, after a good two hundred or so stars had been counted, Ben parked near the emergency room department, quickly unbuckling himself and leaving the vehicle before moving over to open the door for Gwen, holding it open as she too left the car.
Dad said that Grandpas on the third floor, in room 305, Ben said to her, to which she nodded, before he took hold of her hand and led her on into the massive, white-colored building.
Reaching the room close to ten minutes after arriving in the parking lot, Gwen and Ben stepped on into the room, barely remembering to let go of each others hand in time before the latter Tennysons parents turned from their bedside chairs to look back at him.
Oh, youre here, said his mother, a tall, blond woman with dark eyes, her arms opening to pull Ben for a hug, before turning to her niece and hugging her as well.
Hows Grandpa? Ben asked as he was pulled into an embrace by his father as well, although his question was not answered by Carl Tennyson, but by Max.
Oh, Ill be fine, Ben.
Grandpa!
Hurrying on over to either side of the bed, Ben and Gwen, respectively, took hold of one of Maxs hands each, before beginning to speak to him, the latter of two starting first.
So what exactly happened, Grandpa? she questioned, her brow furrowed as he looked down at him in concern.
Yeah, Ben added. Did it have to do with that thing after the–
Erm, Son, Max said suddenly, sitting up slightly in the hospital bed as he nodded his head toward Carl. Would you mind going and getting me something to drink?
Sure, Dad, he obliged at once. What would you like?
I think some prune juice would do nicely, Max answered, causing both Ben and Gwen to inwardly cringe.
Alright, be back soon then, Carl said, before beginning to leave the room, before pausing when his father spoke up again, saying, Why dont you take Sandra along with you? The two of you have been all cooped up in this room with me for a few hours now. Besides, I have my two favorite grandkids here to keep me company now.
What would Kenny say if he heard that? Carl teased, before walking on out of the room, now with his wife following on after him.
Now that theyre gone, Max said, a sudden sense of urgency in his voice present as he made to sit up even further in his bed. Listen you two–they simply wont let me leave this hospital yet no matter what for at least another hour, and as soon as Im released Ill be on my way over in the spare Rustbucket to help, but–
Spare Rustbucket? Gwen questioned, interrupting.
You really think I wouldnt have a backup means of transportation? Max said to her with a slight wink, before lowering his voice slightly and continuing on. So I hear your father had you drive over in his corvette, Ben?
Thats right.
Good. I need you to take your cousin here and drive it on out toward the park we were stopped at before, before that craft showed up and blasted the first Rustbucket to pieces. Now listen, once you get there, just keep driving on past it, going as Northern most as you can, before you come this long, swinging bridge. Get out of the car, cross the bridge, and head on North a little more, before stopping when you see this large, kind of out of place looking rock.
Whats there, Grandpa?
Well Gwendolyn, if you dig up the patch of dirt just in front of it, theres will youll find the Omnitrix–buried there in the ground.
How did– Ben began, but he was cut off when Grandpa continued on with his explanation.
In order to hide, and to really hide, the Omnitrix, I wanted to get it buried there in the ground, before moving that stone over atop of it. However, I had a little trouble trying to move it. I had just gotten back across the bridge, and was heading for my other old R.V. to call you two to come on out and help me–Gwen in particular with her Anodite powers–to help me move it when I sort of fell down
What happened? Gwen asked at once, to which Max gave a sigh and answered. I’m just not as young as I once used to be. I got too tired and weak, out of breath, a passing by driver saw and called an ambulance out of concern for the breathless old man, but anyay, like I said, Ill be back out that way the second Im released from here, but you two have to go move that stone over the buried Omnitrix before its too late–before the creatures in that craft find it first.
I thought it was safe as long as it was hidden from sight, Grandpa, Ben pointed out, to which Max shrugged slightly again, before saying, Yeah, well, just to be safe.
Gotcha, Gwen said, before leaning down to give her grandfather a kiss on the cheek, releasing his hand as she moved over around the other side of the bed, to where Ben was standing.
Well be back soon, the dark-haired young man said confidently, smiling back at his grandpa, before finding Gwens hand with his own and leading her on out of the room, leaving behind a slightly confused Max, who vaguely wondered to himself why they had taken hold of each others hands, before simply brushing off the subject.
Seriously, why cant I drive? Gwen asked, sounding slightly annoyed as she slid into the passenger side seat of her uncles corvette once again, closing the door hastily before stretching the safety belt out across her chest.
Because youre kinda crazy sometimes, Ben said simply as he landed hard on the leather-covered seat, before too slamming his door closed and fastening his safety belt.
What does that have to do with anything? Gwen asked, still sounding mildly irked with Ben as he shifted the car into reverse, before wildly swinging it on out of the parking space backwards, shifting once more, before hightailing it forward, on out of the parking lot.
Well, if youre kinda crazy sometimes, then maybe it means that you kinda drive crazy sometimes, too.
Says he who almost rammed head-on into Grandpa and me on the highway just days ago, the green-eyed young woman grumbled, to which Ben shrugged, before answering, Whatever you say, Gwen, Gwen, Gwen.
Sighing slightly, before shaking her head, the redhead folded her arms across her chest as she felt the vehicle accelerate as Ben began weaving it in and out of the traffic ahead of them on the semi-busy road.
How long do you suppose itll be until we reach that park? he asked as he moved a hand to press on the center of the steering wheel, causing the horn to sound off, urging the car ahead of him to speed up as well.
No more than five or six minutes, Gwen answered, to which Ben shifted over into the right hand lane, before answering, Awesome, weve made good timing then.
Mhm, Gwen agreed, before leaning back against her seat slightly as the vehicle accelerated a little more, sending them jetting forward as Ben–carelessly, in her opinion–continuied to switch lanes.
Finally, when close to another ten minutes had passed them by, the two cousins found themselves nearing the highway, and they were just beginning to wonder if theyd find the mentioned swinging bridge or not when Gwen suddenly pointed over out toward her window. I see it!
Quickly pulling off of the road just short of reaching the highway, Ben slowed the corvettes speed as it reached the edge of a mountain cliff, before coming to a stop, parking near a small brush of trees, before getting out and, repeating his actions from earlier in the parking lot, going over to open up Gwens door for her.
Thanks, she said to him with a smile, glancing around in the darkness once, before finding his hand with her own and carefully approaching the ancient-looking rope bridge. I wonder if this thing is even safe to cross
Well, Grandpa did it, remember? Ben said, tightening his grasp on Gwens hand as he took a step on out onto the first bit of the bridge.
Gwen let me go
Glancing downward, before gasping in horror, Gwen felt a surge of panic overtake her as found herself to be dangling from a broken rope bridge, one of her hands clinging onto part of the rope as her other was hanging down, holding onto Bens hand as he dangled, dangerously, over an open canyon.
Gasping loudly as she quickly took a step backwards, off of the rope bridge, the redheaded Tennyson girl moved a hand to her mouth, causing Ben to step back onto the ledge as he moved to place his hands at either side of her shoulders. Whats wrong, Gwen? What happened?
Its just like one of my dreams she said quietly, her voice muffled beneath her hand.
One of the dreams where I?
Nodding her head at this, her hand still over her mouth, Ben took in a slight breath, before wrapping his arms wholly around her, hugging her as he said quietly,
Gwen, I solemnly swear to you, nothings going to happen to me while we go over that bridge. If Grandpa crossed it, so can we. Now come on, believe in me when I tell you, theres nothing to be afraid of
Swallowing slightly, Gwen slowly moved her hand down from her mouth, before instead moving it over to take hold of Bens once more.
Thats my girl he said to her, before giving her hand a slight squeeze and then leading her on out across the swaying, olden bridge. See? Nothing at all to be afraid of.
Holding her breath in quiet disagreement of this until both she and her cousin were perfectly safe at the opposite side if the bridge, which came to be the case close to three minutes later, Gwen dropped to her knees upon reaching safe, stable ground, emitted a low, long sigh.
Itll all be fine, Ben said to her, moving his hand to her shoulder and giving it a squeeze, before stepping around in front of her and offering her his hand.
Taking it and letting him pull her to her feet, Gwen moved one hand to nervously brush her hair from her face, before walking on throughout the darkness with Ben, hand in hand.
Where do you suppose that rock is? he wondered aloud, before pausing and blinking as his eyes caught sight of it no more than thirty seconds after having asked in the first place.
That was a lot easier to find that I was thinking itd be, Gwen confessed, before hurrying on up to it along with Ben. wait. Somethings not right
Moving down on bended knee, Ben slowly shook his head as his hand moved to trace around the small hole that was there in the ground in front of the large stone.
It must have already been dug up he surmised, before quickly turning his head to look at Gwen when she suddenly clasped her hands together, saying excitedly. No! It hasnt been! Look, Ben, theres the edge of it right there!
Smiling as he shuffled some of the dirt over to find what looked to be a watch strap, the green-eyed young man pulled it up somewhat, making sure that it was indeed the Omnitrix, before placing it back down and beginning to re-fill the hole with dirt. That is odd though its almost like it was in the process of being dug up.
Then, as if on cue, there came a large flash, followed by a strange, sort of narrow sound, before the stone before the young couple was hit with a laser-esque blast, one that turned it almost to dust.
You okay?!
Having initially knocked Gwen over backwards in an attempt to shield her from the blast, Ben quickly moved back up another few seconds later, reaching back into the hole in the ground to retrieve the watch just in time as the spacecraft swept toward the ground.
LETS GO! he called out over the sound of the impeding war craft as it neared the ground, his hand moving to pull Gwen up by her elbow.
Sparing one glance back at the craft as its cannon showed forth again, seemingly ready to blast away any and everything in its path, the redhead ran as quickly as her legs would carry her, keeping up with Ben as they, together, neared the old swinging bridge again. Wanting to take absolutely no chances this time, Gwen gave a wave of her hand, before looking forward to watch as a set of purple, hologram-esque stairs placed themselves up into the air, carrying right on over the bridge.
This way, she said, before beginning to run up and over them, Ben following directly behind her, the both of them fully aware of the alien craft that was now in pursuit of them as they had the Omnitrix.
After finally making it on to the other side of the mountain ledge a moment later, the two Tennysons dashed for the car, Ben turning the key–which had been left in the starter when they left the car in the first place–in the ignition the split second his hand reached it.
Upon hearing the sound of Gwens door closing, Ben shifted the vehicle into drive, before taking off blindly, heading on further into the patch of trees he had parked nearby.
Shouldnt you have gone onto the highway? Gwen asked in a panic, to which Ben replied. And what? Led that thing right into a bunch of innocent people?
True, well, just be careful–we dont know whats in this forest.
I know, and I will be.
I mean, after all those dreams–
Gwen, its all going to be–
Within a moment it was all over. There was a loud thud, coupled with a gasp, followed by a sensation of being tossed around within a blender, and then a crash, and then a tumble, and then it was finished. And, having no real clue as to what had happened, yet knowing that he somehow had to make it out of the now crashed corvette, Ben blinked his eyes dizzily, reaching a hand to his seatbelt as he silently thanked whatever powers that there may have been that the vehicle had ultimately landed upright again.
G-Gwen, he breathed out as he heard the clicking sound of the safety belt unbuckling. Gwen, youre okay right? Gwen?
Looking over toward the passenger side of the car, Ben blinked his eyes open wide, feeling a sharp, dangerous sort of pain pierce his very heart as he looked to see that Gwen was not there.
GWEN! he shouted, immediately throwing the car door open and tumbling outside of it, feeling dizzier than ever as he struggled to his feet, before stumbling forward as he walked around the vehicle, blinking again when he noticed what looked like a body lying on the ground a few feet ahead.
Glancing back toward the car for a split second, only then truly noticing the half-fractured, half-shattered windshield, Ben dropped to his knees, before crawling on up to the body, the terribly sinking of truth of realization making him feel very much as though he might throw up; she had been thrown through the window–she had been thrown through the windshield window as the car crashed, and now she was lying on the ground before him, motionless.
Gwen Ben whispered, crawling on up to her, before lifting her limp body up, moving to hold her in his arms. Come on, Gwen you gotta wake up you just gotta
