Bam! The thunder screamed like a whaling banshee. Gwen quietly shrieked, and Ben heard clearly. He knew Gwen hated storms, and it was evident at the moment. So, if she needed consoling…

Gwen whimpered continuously. She was scared to the brim with fright. All she wants is for the thunder to stop. That, and be with Ben, considering the fact that she loves him. Not exactly family love either… Thunder sounded once more, and she almost screamed. She suddenly felt the covers over her moving,and then say the messy brown mop of hair coming up towards her face. His face was mere inches from her.

“Gwen, are you still awake?”

She didn’t respond with words, but slightly nodded.

“I’m here.”

Those words seeped into her brain, making her feel SO much better, but another lightning flash was audible, and she whimpered front was pressing against her back,and he was, if other people were watching, cuddling with her. He nuzzled his cheek onto hers, her pulse speeding up slightly. “Gwen?”

“Y-Y-Yes?”

She turned around. He didn’t answer, but only looked into her eyes. Their faces inched closer…closer…and closer, until finally, their lips touched.

They started subtle and timid, but it grew stronger as their desire increased. He assaulted her tongue with his, and explored her mouth. Only until they thought their lungs would burst, did they break the contact. “Wow,” was all Gwen could say, and Ben just said “Yeah”. A few minutes passed, and Gwen finally broke the silence. “I think we could both use some sleep.”

“Fine.” He actually was tired, but he just didn’t want to show it. “Night Gwen.”

“Night Ben,” she said lovingly. They stayed in each other’s embrace, until sleeep dawned upon them both. But, Ben’s last thoughts before being entranced by a dream were, ‘Thank God For Storms’….

A/N: Ok, this was my first fic. Sorry for the short length! It was two pages long on paper, but I changed a lot of stuff. I’ll have more stories up and running soon!
