Kevin eyed the guy with the gun in front of him. Being a hostage in a bank robbery wasnt really how he wanted to spend his Saturday night. Besides, the guy was a complete amateur, didnt even ask for the money under the counter or in the safe, plus, if the yellow pool on the floor had to do with anything, he had pissed his pants when the cops had showed up.

Bored with his observations he turned his head to Ben, interested to find the younger boy looking pretty worried. A grin spread out over Kevins face as he thought of the perfect way to get them out of there, without using their powers which Ben said, might hurt the guy or the other hostages.

He leaned over to Ben, Hey, Benji. Act like youre in pain and clutch your stomach alright?

Ben looked at him questioningly. What? Why?

Doesnt matter, just trust me, that is if you can Ben frowned but nodded before quickly bending over and screaming in pain.

The wimp of a robber quickly pointed his gun at them, nervous as hell. W-whats wrong?

Kevin looked up, impressed with the fact he was able to pull of a serious face considering the situation. My girlfriends pregnant and I think the stress is causing problems with the pregnancy. Oh, he was going to get so much shit for this later.

The robber frowned. B-but thats a boy and he doesnt even look pregnant.

Kevin growled at the man, once again trying not to laugh at how scared the dude was right now. You think I dont know my own girlfriends gender? I was the one who got her knocked up you know! Does it matter if she happens to be a bit flat chested? I think not! Kevin pulled the still screaming Ben onto his lap and held him protectively.

The robber backed up, taken aback. Ah, um, wha-what do I do?

Kevin frowned at the man, using all his willpower to not laugh at this point. She needs a paramedic and unless you happened to go to medical school theres really nothing you can do. Please, you got to let us go, if not for me or her at least for our kid!

The robber thought about this, seemingly frantic. F-fine! You can go but no one else!

Kevin helped the now whimpering Ben to his feet and began to lead him towards the door. Come on baby, were almost there! You can make it, I believe in you.

Kevin nodded and pushed open the door to the bank only to be surrounded by police seconds later.

It wasnt until later on that evening, while Kevin and Ben watched the police take the robber away, that a police officer asked them how they got out. Ben blushed and looked away while a Kevin finally burst out laughing. He put his arms around Bens shoulders and grinned at the officer.

Well you see officer, my girlfriend here is quite pregnant and quite good and screaming and whimpering.

When Gwen asked why Kevin was on the ground when she came to pick them up, Ben would say he was aiming for Kevins shins and hadnt meant for his foot to go higher.
